Dr Farooq, Omar pay tributes
Srinagar: The National Conference president and union minister for new and renewable energy Dr Farooq Abdullah on Thursday paid glowing tributes to the noted Islamic scholar late Moulana Muhammad Yousuf shah on this death anniversary, describing him great religious and political personality who had played a pivotal role in freedom movement of Kashmir.
Meanwhile, the chief minister Omar Abdulah and National Conference general secretary Sheikh Nazir Ahmad, Muhammad Sahfi Uri, Sharief –ud-Din Shariq, Dr Mehboob Beg, Abdul Rahim Rather, Ali Muhammad Sagar, Dr sheikh Mustafa Kamal, Mubarak Gul, Irfan Ahmad Shah and Peer Afaq have also paid rich tributes to late Mirwaiz Moulana Muhamamd Yousuf Shah.
