India, Pak armies trade fire

Jammu, Aug 18: In a fresh incident of alleged ceasefire violation, India and Pakistan armies exchanged heavy fire along the Line of Control in Jammu’s Poonch district on Thursday morning.
 Official sources said that Pakistan Rangers opened fire on Indian post Langoor in during the wee hours today. “There was heavy fire from the Pakistan side, which was returned by the Indian army,” sources said. “Light and heavy machine guns were used in the firing.”
 There was no loss of life or injury reported.
