Minister ‘angry’ with GK

Srinagar, Aug 18: Greater Kashmir Thursday called the Minister for Education Peerzada Muhammad Sayeed for comments about the SSA lapses and his last year’s promise to probe the alleged irregularities in the scheme. Without listening to what official documents had to say, Sayeed shot back: “Greater Kashmir Ko Sirf Irreguilarities Hi Nazar Aati Hain Ab. Koi Irregularity Nahi Hai (Greater Kashmir is just able to see irregularities only. There are no irregularities).”
In a very angry tone, the Minister said “I have no readily available details. How do you expect me to have the details ready? I will have to ask officials”. Without commenting anything further, the minister dropped the phone and didn’t pick up again.
