Attention Hajj pilgrims
Srinagar, Aug 1: The Executive Officer, Jammu and Kashmir State Hajj Committee, Srinagar, has advised the selected pilgrims from Jammu and Kashmir to remit their balance amount of Rs 90,342 in green category, Rs 80,588 in white category and Rs 73,515 in Azizia category.
Due to non-availability of sufficient accommodation units on green category, the Hajj Committee of India has changed the accommodation status of 8000 pilgrims throughout the country from green to Azizia as only 52,000 units were available in green category against 60,000 applications. The change of accommodation status has been done by means of draw of lots.
In view of this all selected pilgrims are hereby informed to check the accommodation status on Hajj Committee website www.hajcommittee.com before depositing the balance amount. The last date of remittance of balance amount is September 3, 2011.
