JPPF’S HUNGER STRIKE CONTINUES

Jammu, Aug 1: The hunger strike launched by Jammu Province People’s Forum (JPPF) for the immediate appointment of Central University Vice Chancellor today entered its 8th day.
The forum members, Gajan Singh, Sampuran Singh, Pritam Singh, Vijay Amla, Rajinder Pandit and Vicky Sharma sat on hunger strike today.
Speaking on the occasion, chairman of JPPF Pavitar Singh expressed his anguish over the delay in the appointment and alleged that there is deep rooted conspiracy against the region.
He warned the state and central governments that if no immediate decision is taken, the forum would be forced to intensify its agitation.
