GK NEWS NETWORK
Srinagar, Aug 1: Lt Gen Syed Ata Hasnain, GOC Chinar Corps, has conveyed felicitations to the leadership and people of Kashmir on the eve of Ramadan.
“In doing so he has accepted in deep humility the immense love of the Awam showered on his soldiers. The excellent year that 2011 has been thus far is a result of the increasing trust between the Awam and uniformed forces. He requests the Awam to ensure that the holy period of Ramadan remains peaceful so that people can follow all the tenets laid down for the holy month. Soldiers of the uniformed forces have been sensitized about the sentiments and the divine flavour of this month, this will be ensured by all in letter and spirit,” a Defence spokesman said.
