4 MSEs of JK selected for national award

Jammu, Aug 19: Union Ministry for Micro Small and Medium Enterprises has short listed four MSEs of J&K State to be conferred with National level Special Recognition Award for outstanding efforts in entrepreneurship.
These units have been short listed rigorously on the basis of various parameters concerning with growth in sales, turnover, capital investment, employment, export and application of quality management system, energy efficient technology, effective customer relationship, management etc, an official statement said.
Director, MSME-DI, J&K Jammu, Virinder Sharma informed that it is for the first time that the MSEs of industrially backward state of J&K have got such a good representation on national level.
Those who have been short listed include M/s Electrified Company, Gangyal manufacturer of distribution, current transformers, voltage stabilizers etc under the brand name ‘electrified’.
M/s Nayyar Electrodes Pvt Ltd, Bari Brahmana, Jammu manufacturer of Welding Electrodes under the brand name of ‘SPARC’.
M/s Computer Paper Feed, Gangyal Jammu manufacturer of Computer printed stationery under the brand name of ‘NICE’.
M/s Albaq Power Pvt Ltd Ramgreth, Srinagar manufacturer of distribution transformers under the brand name ‘ALBA’.
The awards shall be conferred to the MSE’s by the President of India on 2nd September, 2011 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi in a glittering function.
