Dog scare at Usmanabad
GK NEWS NETWORK
Srinagar, Aug 22: The residents of Usmanabad UmarHair in Soura have complained of stray dog menace in the area saying that the canines frequently attack people.
The residents said the dog scare has gone so rampant that people avoid venturing out of their houses, alone.
“It’s even more difficult to go to Masjid for prayers,” the residents said.
Meanwhile the residents have appealed the Transport Minister Qamar Ali Akhoon to “restore bus service to the area.”
The residents said bus service was stopped due to road repairs in the area a few years back but wasn’t restored.
“We many a time approached the concerned authorities but no heed was paid to our genuine pleas,” the residents said.
