Mirwaiz demands trial of culprits in ICJ
GK NEWS NETWORK
Srinagar, Aug 22: Chairman of Hurriyat Conference (M) Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Tuesday demanded that culprits involved in the “genocide” of Kashmiris should be tried in the International Court of Justice (ICJ).
“The forces involved in the fake encounter killing of civilians on Line of Control and then their burial in these unknown graveyards should be tried in International Court of Justice,” Mirwaiz said while addressing a gathering at Sariabala here.
Stating that the blood of Kashmiris was not cheap, Mirwaiz said that the forces are killing civilians for the rewards and promotions.
“Fair and impartial probe should be conducted to know what forces have done to innocent Kashmiris. SHRC revealing that more than 2000 unidentified bodies are lying in unmarked graves has vindicated our stand,” he said.
Later on Mirwaiz inaugurated the diagnostic centre managed by the trustees of Dastageer Sahib Sariabal.
