Tributes paid to Hazrat Ali (RA)

Srinagar, Aug 22: Several processions and Majalis were organized in Valley on Monday as party of the Youm-e-Ali (RA) on his martyrdom anniversary.
The functions were organized by Itihad-ul-Muslimeen, Anjuman-e-Shar-e-Shian, Jamiat-e-Himayat-ul-Islam, Shia Association and other religious organizations.
A daylong Majalis were organized by Itihad-ul-Muslimeen at Imam Bargah Mirgund, Pattan, Gund Hassi Bhat, Srinagar, Garend Budgam, and Arampora. Prominent Zakirs including Aga Syed Hassan, Muhammad Shafi, Khawaja, Maqsool Ali, Haji Ghulam Hassan, Syed Hassan Mosvi and others spoke on the occasion.
A grand ceremony was held at Imam Bargah Mirgund, Pattan.
Addressing the participants in the procession, J&K Itehad-ul-Muslimeen Chief Patron, Moulana Abbass Ansari highlighted the martyrdom of Hazrat Ali (RA).
Maulana Masroor Abbas Ansari took out a procession from Gund Hassi Bhat, Srinagar which was attended by scores of devotees.
The Anjuman-e-Shar-e-Shian held a daylong Majlis at Imam Bargah Budgam and Imam Bargah Rainawari Hassan Abad, which started with the recitation of Holy Quran. Scores of devotees attended the Majlis and paid glowing tributes to Hazrat Imam Ali (RA).
J&K Anjuman-e-Shar-e-Shian Chief Patron, Aga Syed Hassan Mustaffa Alsafvi Almosvi, delivered a lecture on the life of Hazrat Ali (RA). Later a procession was taken out from Imam Bargah Rainawari Hasanabad.
The daylong Majlis was also organized by J&K Shia Association at Imam Bargah Zadiabal. Scores of devotees thronged the Imam Bargah where they recited Holy Quran. It was followed by Marsiah.
J&K Shia Association Chief Patron, Moulana Aftikhar Hussain Ansari, delivered a lecturer on the life of Hazrat Ali (RA).
The procession was taken out from Imam Bargah Zadibal which passed through Gaziyar and culminated at Gulshan Zehra Baba Mazar here.
Jamiat-e-Himayat-ul-Islam also organised daylong programs at different places in the Valley.
Jamiat-e-Himayat-ul-Islam President, Moulana Khursheed Ahmad Kanoongo delivered a lecturer paying glowing tributes to Hazrat Ali (RA) at Masjid Syed Karam Shah Sahib (RA) Gole Market Karan Nagar here.
The Jamiat-e-Himayat-ul-Islamís Chief Patron Molvi Showkat Hussain Keng also threw light on the event at Masjid Sharief Qaziyar Zaina Kadal, Srinagar.
Meanwhile,Moulana Bashir Ahmad Farooqi addressed the gathering at Asar Sharief Hazratbal, Moulana Reyaz-Ul - Haq at Asar Sharief Soura, Moulana Abdul Rashid Dawoodi at Kaba Marg and President Shobah Iqbalyat Kashmir University, Dr. Bashir Ahmad Nehvi at Masjid Noor Balgarden.
