Uncertainty prevails over promotion of Munsiffs, Sub-Judges
HC transfers 11 District Judges
GK NEWS NETWORK
Jammu, Aug 24: While the uncertainty prevailed over promotion of around 15 Sub-Judges, the State High Court today transferred at least eleven district judges.
Official sources in the state high court told Greater Kashmir that the law department is yet to respond to the clarification sought regarding the sanction accorded by it for adhoc promotion of 15 Sub Judges as District Judges in their own pay and grade.
The High Court, sources claimed, has desired that the law department should relax some of the conditions mentioned in the sanction order including the one that once direct recruitment is made the adhoc appointees can revert back to their original positions.
