Zainakote school teachers without salary
Srinagar: Lecturers of Boys Higher Secondary School Zainakote are without salary for the past two months.
A delegation of teachers told Greater Kashmir that they have not been given salaries since July for unknown reasons. "We are being told that it would be released very soon. But nothing is happening. The Education Department must look into why our salary is not released in time," said a group of teachers.
They said the state government has already issued instructions that this month's salary should be released before Eid-ul-Fitr. "But we are suffering in absence of salary, especially on the occasion of Eid," they said, urging the Commissioner/Secretary, School Education Department, to ensure immediate release of their salary.
