Corruption everywhere
This refers to Governor NN Vohra’s recent speech that corruption in Jammu and Kashmir is a matter of concern. The Governor is right that corruption impedes growth of a nation. He has rightly asked the political parties and their leaders in J&K to be sensitive to what is required to be done for furthering accountability and good governance in the state. Indeed, there is need for the urgent appointment of the second member of the Accountability Commission and filling up the vacancies in other Commissions. Similarly the State Vigilance Commission should also be set up very soon after undertaking the required amendments.
