JK Bank open for full day on Saturday

Srinagar, Aug 25: All the branches of J&K Bank in the state shall remain open for full day and observe business hours from 10 am to 4pm on Saturday, 27th August, for the convenience of general public. The extension in working hours is aimed at providing extended services to esteemed customers on the eve of ensuing Eid-ul-Fitr, a JK Bank spokesman said.
Notably, as per the government order no. 983-GAD of 2011 dated 25th August, the holiday on account of Shab-e-Qadr shall now be observed on 28 August 2011 (Sunday) instead of 27 August 2011 (Saturday).
