Take care of martyrs families on eid: Nayeem

Srinagar, Aug 28:  Senior resistance leader and Jammu Kashmir National Front chairman, Nayeem Ahmad Khan has asked the people of Valley to take care of the families of martyrs, injured and those languishing in jails in and outside the Jammu and Kashmir.
In his Eid-ul-Fitr message, Nayeem said, “On this occasion, we shouldn’t forget the families who sacrificed their loved ones for the freedom .We shouldn’t forget the orphans who are eagerly waiting for their parents for Eidi. It is our religious, moral and national responsibility to take care of these families,” Khan said in a statement.
Asking people to celebrate Eid with austerity, Khan said, “We are celebrating the festival at a time when restless souls of our youngsters, buried in the unmarked graves, are asking us that we were not allowed to get decent burial. They are telling us that we are the husbands of half widows and the fathers of half orphans.”
Felicitating Muslims particularly Kashmiris, Khan said that on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr people should offer special prayers in Eid Gahs, Masajids, Imam Barahs and Khanqahs for the freedom of Kashmir.
