Kulgam remembers unrest victims

Kulgam, Aug 2: This south Kashmir town observed a complete shutdown on Wednesday to mark the death anniversary of two youth, Rameez Rashid Bhat and Ashiq Hussain Bhat of Kulgam killed on this day during 2010 unrest.
 All shops and business establishments remained closed while traffic was off the roads. 
 Scores of paramilitary CRPF and policemen were deployed in the town to thwart protests. However, the minor incidents of stone pelting were reported from a few parts of the town.
