Musalees appeal for Shamyana
Srinagar, Aug 2: Musalees offering Zuhr and Asar Salahs outside Masjids in the busy City centre areas like Maisuma, Lal Chowk and Maharaja Bazar have appealed the Masajid Intizaamiyaas and the local shopkeepers to keep Shamyanas in place so that scorching heat could be avoided by those offering the prayers on the roadside.
“At least the shopkeepers should pool resources to provide Shamyanas so that the Musalees find some relief,” they said.
Pertinently some Musalees in Maisuma locality as per witnesses were about to faint due to bright sunshine as they offered Zuhr Salah in open.
