50,000 rebel prisoners missing in Libya

Tripoli, Aug 29: Libyan rebels have said they freed more than 10,000 prisoners arrested by Gaddafi forces during the uprising that began in March, but claim there were still 50,000 missing.
 Rebel spokesman Ahmed Omar Bani said that over the past months, between 57,000 and 60,000 rebels were arrested by Gaddafi's regime.
