Officials said that ahead of Eid festival the district administration and CAPD have constituted a market checking team. “The team today inspected the markets in Islamabad town and found various shopkeepers involved in profiteering and overcharging.”
The team found that many shopkeepers didn’t even display the rate lists at conspicuous places in their shops. “During checking four wholesale dealers for selling goods at inflated rates.”
“The team also fined many grocers and milkmen for alleged profiteering,” said Magray.
