ML condemns re-arrest of Mushtaq-ul-Islam

Srinagar: Muslim League Jammu Kashmir has strongly condemned the re-arrest of its incarcerated Ameer Mushtaq-ul-Islam soon after his release on court orders in the Kathua Jail, Jammu.
“As soon as the Kathua Jail authorities released Mushtaq-ul-Islam, the JIC Jammu personnel rearrested him in the jail premises and took him to some unknown place,” said a spokesman of the ML in a statement.
“Justice Mansoor Ahmad Mir had quashed the Mushtaq’s detention order,” said the spokesman, adding that “Prior to it, Mushtaq was granted bail in a case in TADA Court Jammu. The court has also accepted his bail in 1993 India Vs West Indies case.”
