Nayeem Khan placed under house arrest

Srinagar, Aug 29: Authorities on Monday placed the Chairman of National Front and senior Hurriyat (M) leader Nayeem Ahmed Khan under house arrest.
“A huge contingent of police cordoned off Khan’s residence in Civil Lines area  this evening and informed him that he cannot move out,” a NF spokesman said in a statement.
