Gilani discusses security with top army officer
Islamabad: Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has discussed the security situation in Pakistan with a top army officer.
Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Chairman General Khalid Shamim Wyne met Gilani Tuesday and discussed the security situation in the country.
He apprised the prime minister about the matters relating to the armed forces and their commitment to fight out extremism, reported Associated Press of Pakistan.
Pakistan has been hit by a string of terror attacks following the May 2 killing of Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden in Abbottabad by US commandoes. IANS
