IuM condemns Ansari’s continued house arrest

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Ittihad-ul-Muslimeen (IuM) has condemned the continued house arrest of its Chief Patron, Maulana Abbas Ansari and Maulana Masroor Abbas Ansari for the past three consecutive days.
 The Ittihad-ul-Muslimeen in a statement said: “The state government has practically turned J&K into a police state. We can’t even pay condolences to the bereaved family. The authorities have imposed curb on our movement.”
 The Anjuman-e-Shar-e-Shiaan President, Aga Syed Hassan Al Safvi Al Mosvi has also condemned the continued detention of the Hurriyat leaders.
