Rationalize funds in each constituency: House Panel

Srinagar, Aug 3: House Committee constituted to look into the norms and criteria evolved for upgradation and creation of posts in Health sector from 2002 to March 2011, stressed for rationalization of funds to each constituency.
 The Committee, which met here today under the Chairmanship of MLA Dr. Mustafa Kamal discussed and examined the information obtained from health and medical education department.
 The Committee stressed for strict adherence of prescribed guidelines while establishing any health institution.
 The Committee asked the concerned officers of Assembly Secretariat to seek documents of expenditure district-wise under National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) incurred in the State for examination.
 Legislators Ashok Kumar, Chowdhary Sham Lal, Chowdhary Zulfikar Ali, Muhammad Ashraf Ganaie, Indu Powar, Javid Mustafa Mir  and Yashpal Kundal gave their suggestions to improve the functioning of the health and medical institutions.
