YSS clinches Women’s Cricket Tourney

Srinagar: Aug 3: Youth Services and Sports (YSS) Women Cricket team lifted the Senior Group Girl’s Cricket Championship by defeating Kashmir University by 105 runs at SK Cricket Stadium here on Tuesday.
 Earlier, YSS won the toss and decided to bat first. With the help of a wonderful knock by Jasia who scored unbeaten 62 runs, YSS managed to score a descent total of 230 runs in the given 40 overs.
 Chasing the total, Kashmir University team was easily bundled out on a low total of 125 runs thus losing the match by a huge margin of 105 runs.
 Jasia from youth services team was decided as player of the tournament for her all round performance.
 The tournament was organized by Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association in which 14 teams of different colleges, schools and clubs participated.
