Gandhi College lifts title

INTER-COLLEGE FOOTBALL TOURNEY

Srinagar, Aug 5: The final match of Inter-College Football Tournament organised by Directorate of Physical Education and Sports department Kashmir University was played at Kashmir University here on Thursday
 In the match Gandhi Memorial college (GMC) defeated Government Degree College Anantnag (Islamabad) by 2-0.With this win Gandhi College lifted the title.
 In the event, Gandhi Memorial College were the dominant side scoring overall 21 goals without conceding any goal. In the event 18 teams of different colleges participated.
 Waseen Makhdoomi was declared as man of the tournament while as Rizwan Shafi was man of the match.
