Govt offices penalized for power pilferage

Rajouri, Aug 7: Mobile Magistrate Thanamandi was taken by surprise on Sunday when he found major government departments violating and indulging in power theft.
 He also summoned the officials of these departments to appear before the court on August 19.
 During the drive, the Magistrate inspected Government Degree College Thanamandi, Municipal Committee, Block Development Office and branch of J&K Bank Ltd.
 All these offices were found violating and indulging in power theft. 40 illegal connections were also removed.
