Kashmira Vahini presents memorandum to Guv

Srinagar, Aug 8: A delegation of the Kashmira Vahini met Governor, N N Vohra here and presented a memorandum of demands to him.
 The demands presented by the 5-member delegation, led by Dr. Khema Koul, National Spokesperson of the Organisation, included, interalia, speedy implementation of the Prime Minister’s Special Employment Package for Kashmiri migrant youth and urgent rectification of the difficulties faced by those who have already been appointed; enhancement of cash relief to the migrants; protection and propagation of Sharda script; facilitation of visits of devotees from Jammu and Kashmir to the Sharda Mata Temple located in PaK; and urgent measures for the protection and conservation of Hindu religious temples and shrines in the Valley.
 Meanwhile, Ghazi Ghulam Nabi Kashmiri, a local poet and writer met, Governor N N Vohra and presented him his book titled “Zindagi Aik Darya Hai”
  “Zindagi Aik Darya Hai” is a collection of poems in Urdu and Hindi on varied themes, and a small section in English, covering 260 pages.
 The Governor complimented Ghazi for writing competently on widely varying themes in Urdu, Hindi and English, and wished him continuing success in his future literary endeavours.
