WARD OFFICER ACCORDED FAREWELL
Srinagar, Nov 30: Abdul Rashid, Ward Officer, Srinagar Municipal Corporation was Wednesday accorded a warm farewell on his superannuation after 33-years-of service in the civic body.
The SMC officials, who hosted a farewell function in his honour, termed Rashid as an upright man who dedicated his life for betterment of the City at various posts he was offered.
The president Municipal Employees Union and others wished him a happy post retirement life.
Meanwhile, senior officials of the SMC also appreciated the service tenure of the Rashid and termed him “efficient and dynamic officer” while wishing him all the best for his future endeavours.
