Omar meets Governor

Jammu, Dec 10: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today discussed various developmental issues of the state with Governor N N Vohra here.
Omar met the Governor at Raj Bhavan here and during their one and half hour meeting they discussed various important issues relating to the state.
They discussed the establishment of the Panchayati Raj institutions, elections to urban local bodies and cooperative societies, early setting up of watchdog commissions, measures being considered to eradicate corruption and for time-bound completion of major development projects.
The Chief Minister also briefed the Governor about security management issues.
