GEN HASNAIN HOSTS MEDIA INTERACTION

Srinagar, Dec 12:  Lt Gen Syed Atta Hasnain on Monday hosted an interactive session with media people at Badami Bagh Cantonment in the City.
 He urged the invitees to fully utilize the “opportunity to develop synergy between the two components in a very pragmatic manner.” 
 A defence communiqué said the meeting aimed “to further strengthen and remove any functional irritants.”
 “Many prominent journalists representing almost all the local Valley based newspapers including senior Army officers attended the interaction,” it added.
 The defence PRO said: “Shujaat Bukhari, representing Rising Kashmir and The Hindu, while addressing the gathering brought out functional problems while covering CI/CT operation and pressures from the environment working on them.”
