FIRE AT HAZRATBAL

5 houses gutted

GK NEWS NETWORK

Srinagar, Dec 17: Around five residential houses were gutted in a fire at Wani Lane Hazratbal Saturday afternoon , reports and witnesses said.
They said the fire erupted from a house and engulfed the adjacent houses.
The spread of fire was, however, prevented by the timely action of the fire-fighters.
Even though nobody was hurt in the incident, the inmates have been left shelter less in these chilly nights.
Meanwhile, Muhammad Rafi Khan, Chairman, Hazratbal Welfare Society, has expressed solidarity with the fire victims and appealed the government to provide adequate compensation to the affected families.
