Buchpora-Ilahi Bagh road converted into death trap

A few days back we -the Intizaamiya Committee Masjid-i-Ahli Bait-e-Rasool(SAW) Buchpora had requested for the restoration of the two flood lights fixed- one, on the road crossing at the corner of the Masjid and the other a hundred meters ahead on Buchpora- Ilahi Bagh road.
The urgency of restoration of these lights has become all the more necessary due to excavation of the road for pipe-laying, when the deep trenches are left open for days together for the construction of the manholes. There is every chance of pedestrians slipping from the muddy-slippery road surface in to the deep trenches during night hours that are usually filled with water due to pipe leakages. Any untoward accident shall be the responsibility of the concerned negligent departments. An early restoration of the lights is the need of the hour. We hope that the concerned department will wakeup from the deep slumber.
