Faqir Gujri, Dara lacks amenities: Tribal body
Srinagar, Dec 1: Gujjar Mahasabha State President, Eshfaq-ur-Rehman Poswal today said the Faqir Gujri and Dara areas here lacked basic facilities including electricity, drinking water and healthcare. After touring the area, Poswal held a meeting and urged the Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah to visit these areas to take stock of the problems being faced by the people. The participants urged the CM to direct DGP to hold on the spot police recruitment drive in Gujjar areas like Fakir Gujri, Dara and Harwan as done at Khanyar, Rainawari and Batamaloo.
