Inter school athletic meet concludes

Srinagar, Dec 1: The three day district Srinagar Inter-school athletic meet concluded at Bakshi stadium here on Wednesday.
Around 1350 boys and girls from all over the City participated in different athletic disciplines in the event.
Selection of players who will represent Srinagar District in inter-district athletic meet scheduled from Thursday was conducted. On the concluding day competitions of girls section were conducted.
In under-14 girls 100 meter event, Sumaira, Rayeesa and Muzamil finished first, second and third respectively while in under-17, 100 meter race, Hadiya, Navreen and Sehar Jan bagged first three positions respectively. In under-19, 100 metre event, Shabnam, Jazilah and Khushboo bagged first three positions respectively.
In girls under-14, 400 metre Zarman, Insha and Sehreen finished first, second and third respectively while in under-17, 400 metre, Mehvish, Subeena and Sheeba bagged first three positions respectively.
In under-19, 400 metre Anika, Nisha and Ishrat finished first, second and third respectively.
In under-14, shot put, Beenish, Nowsheen and Sarullah bagged first three positions respectively while in under-17 shot put, Muthara, Kounsar and Mehvish bagged first three positions.
Similarly, in under-19 shot put, Novreen bagged first position while Bisma Mushtaq and Bisma Ashraf bagged second and third positions respectively.
In under-14 high jump, Sadaf, Sumaira and Rayeesa bagged first three positions respectively while in under-17 category high jump, Novreen, Bisma and Irtiza bagged first three positions respectively.
In under-19 javelin, Maliha, Azra and Bisma bagged first three positions respectively.
