Polo Ground-A to clash with Chattergam-XI in final
INTER-ACADEMY FOOTBALL TOURNEY
Srinagar, Dec 1: Polo Ground Academy-A set its clash with Chattergam Academy in the final of the Inter-Academy football tournament that will be played on Saturday at Polo ground.
On Thursday two semifinals were played in which Polo Ground and Chattergam emerged winners. In the first semi-final, Chattergam Academy thrashed Anantnag (Islamabad) Academy 4-0. Tasaduq scored hatrick of goals while Sameer scored one.
In the second semifinal, Polo Ground Academy-A defeated Varmul Academy in a thrilling encounter by a solitary goal. Ali Afridi was scorer for the winning team.
The final of the event would be played on Saturday in which Polo Ground Academy-A will clash with Chattergam Academy for the title.
Before the final, exhibition match between JK Bank Academy and Food and Supplies-Xi would be played at 1 PM.
Chief Post Master General J&K Circle, John Samuel will chief guest on the occasion.
The event is being organised by J&K Football Association and sponsored by Chief Post Master General J&K Circle.
