Girl among 2 killed in road accidents
Srinagar, Dec 19: Two persons including a girl were killed and four others injured in separate road accidents in Kashmir.
According to police spokesman, a truck bearing registration number (JK01C-4755) hit and critically wounded Bashir Ahmad Khan son of Ghulam Rasool, of Zagoon Khareen, Beerwah near Lal Mandi here. The grievously wounded Bashir was shifted to SMHS hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries, the spokesman said adding a case had been registered in this regard.
In another incident, a Tractor, hit and killed a girl, Mehnaz Jan daughter of Habibullah Wani of Kharpora, Kunzar at Kunzar, in Baramulla district, the spokesman said, adding a case had been registered in this regard.
An unknown motorcycle hit and injured, Umar Nabi son of Ghulam Nabi, of Charipora, Pakherpora Char-e-Sharief, Budgam, the spokesman said adding the wounded had been hospitalized. Police has registered a case in this regard.
A Sumo bearing registration number (JK01D-7999) hit and injured Irtika Jan daughter of Nazir Ahmad Bakshi of Chogal at Chogal Handwara, the spokesman said adding the wounded girl had been hospitalized.
A car bearing number (KMR-324) turned turtle at Srundoo, Kulgam, resulting in injuries to driver Barkatullah Bhat and Shamim Ahmad Bhat, the spokesman said adding a case had been registered.
