Job aspirants appeal SSB, DGP to conduct interviews
Srinagar, Dec 24: The aspirants who have applied for the posts of junior stenographers and junior assistants appealed Service Selection Board (SSB) to conduct their interviews immediately.
“We have applied for these posts in state, division and district cadres vide various SSB notifications advertised in Dec 2010 and January 2011. But almost a year has passed, we are still waiting for interview call. We appeal the SSB authorities to conduct the interviews as soon as possible in order to save our future as some most of us are jobless are close to overage,” a delegation of aspirants told Greater Kashmir.
“Some of us have also qualified the outdoor tests for the posts of Assistant Sub-Inspector (stenographer) in J&K Police in the middle of this year, but the department failed to conduct skill test. We also appeal Director General of JK Police to look into the matter,” the delegation said.
