Fateh Kadal residents appeal SMC Comm
Srinagar, Dec 25: The residents of New Fateh Kadal in Old City here have appealed the SMC Commissioner to conduct on-the-spot visit of the area to check ongoing construction of illegal structures there.
A delegation from the area told Greater Kashmir that among the structures, a shopping complex is coming up in the midst of the residential houses. “Last year, SMC officials had taken action against the offenders. However, since past over a year, the unscrupulous persons have been given a free hand. The shopping complex is midst of the residential houses in bound to hamper our privacy. We urge the SMC Commissioner to visit the spot to ascertain the facts and take action against under rules,” the residents said.
