Wangnoo Club, Maharaja, Elites Baramulla, Young Maharaja win matches

Srinagar, Dec 26: On the ninth day of ongoing first Valley Winter Seven-A-side football tournament four matches were played at Polo ground here on Monday.
 In the first match of the day Wangnoo Club defeated Saffalo Club 3-0. Ahsan scored the first goal for Wangnoo Club in 9th minute and Shakeel doubled the lead in 17th minute. Ahsan again scored in 35th minute of the play. Waseem for his brilliant play was adjudged man of the match
 In the second match, Maharaja Club defeated Golden Club 2-1. Asif of Maharaja who was playing as left half scored in 8th minute of first half.  Owais scored second goal in the opening minutes of second half. Golden Club players made several moves to score but only managed to score one goal in last minutes of the play. Syed Sirajudin Vice President of JKFA presented the man of the match to Asif of Maharaja Club.
 In the third match Elites Baramulla defeated Young Batamaloo
 3-2.Young Batmaloo took early lead when in the 5th minute of first half Zubair scored a goal. Elites Baramulla came up strongly and managed to score two goals till half time. Haroon and Mudasir were the scorers. Haroon again scored the third and his second goal in 35th minute of the play. Asif of Batamaloo scored second goal for his team in 38th minute.
 Dr Asim presented the man of the match award to Mudasir Ahmed of Elites Baramulla.
 In the last match of the day Young Maharaja defeated Food and Supplies by a solitary goal. The lone goal of the match came in the opening minutes through Mushtaq. G A Kumar former captain and coach of Food and Supplies presented the man of the match to Mushtaq Ahmed of Young Maharaja.
 The event is being organized by Football Players Welfare Association  under the aegis of J&K Football Association.
