Injured boy succumbs at SKIMS

Srinagar Dec 27: A boy who was injured in a road accident last week, succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS Soura here today.
 Police said a Load Carrier (JK01N/9378) had hit and injured Shoaib Ahmad Darzi (15) son of Muhammad Nasir, resident of Bijnor UP presently putting up in Chattabal, at Baghi Sunder Bala, Chattabal, Srinagar on December 18. The injured was shifted to SKIMS, Soura for treatment. However, he succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS, Soura today
 Meanwhile, Firdous Ahmed Sheikh son of Muhammad Yousuf resident of Tazipora, Kulgam was killed in a mishap today.
 Police said Sheikh was working in a Utensil Factory at Wanpoh, Kulgam in south Kashmir “His clothes got stuck in the rotation shaft of a machine, resulting in serious injuries to him. He was shifted to District Hospital Islamabad Anantnag, where he succumbed,” Police said adding a case has been registered and investigation taken up.
