NC worker’s house set ablaze
Kangan, Dec 28: Unidentified persons set ablaze a house of National Conference activist at Tangchater, 3 kms from here, last night, locals said.
“Gunshots were heard from the house owned by Habibullah Shah after which it caught fire,” locals said. Shamim Ahmad son of the house owner told Greater Kashmir that they had vacated their house 2-years ago after receiving threats from unknown gunmen. "My father is a senior NC worker and has always remained on forefront to develop the area. It seems our house was set on fire to terrify us,” he added.
