Edu deptt organizes function in Bandipora

Bandipora, Dec 3: To mark the World Disability Day, the Department of Education organized a programme for the differently-abled children at Government Secondary School Bagh Bandipora here,
The programme was organized by the Chief Education Officer Bandipora to aware the masses about the problems of the differently-abled children.
“We have organised the event to encourage people to change their attitude towards differently-abled persons so that they don’t feel left out,” said Chief Education Officer Bandipora Muhamad Ramzan.
“It’s our moral and religious responsibility to give our time and attention to the disabled. Our attention will lessen their disability. We have developed a team of well trained staff which is equipped with latest gadgetry for treatment and counseling of children with disabilities,” he added.
The CEO said there are 699 differently-abled children among 59206 children in the five educational zones of the District.
