Jammu/Rajouri, Dec 3:  Protest broke out on Saturday in home town of a Jammu and Kashmir police constable who allegedly committed suicide a week before he was schedule to marry.
 Muhammad Shahid Bhat son of Abdiul Qayoom Bhat of Ward No 8 Rajouri, a police constable – who was schedule to marry on December 11, shoot himself with his service rifle at the house of a Deputy Superintendent of Police, where he was posted on guard duty at Sainik Colony area of Jammu.
 The constable had requested for the leave, which as per the preliminary investigation has become the cause behind the suicide. Police said that exact cause of the suicide was not known immediately but the matter was being investigated.
 Meanwhile family members alleged that he was being harassed by the official and was denied leave.
 As the reports about constable’s death reached his home town in Rajouri, the family members and relatives took to streets and blocked the vehicular movement demanding registration of murder case.
 Deputy Commissioner Jammu has constituted a high level committee to investigate the matter. “The DC has ordered magisterial probe in the case”, sources said.
