Usman takes on Nizam

‘Talks of resolving K-issue, takes shelter in Army camps’

GK NEWS NETWORK

Arin (Bandipore), Dec 3: Senior Congress leader, Usman Majeed, on Saturday launched a scathing attack on PDP leader and MLA, Bandipore Nizamuddin Bhat.
“It is unfortunate that our legislator on one side raises slogan of resolving Kashmir issue and on the other hand he takes shelter in Army camps,” Usman said while addressing a gathering here in north Kashmir.
“People should come forward and eliminate liars form political scene who hoodwink the masses by raising hollow slogans,” Usman said.
“He (Bhat) always lies to divert the attention of the people from real issues” he alleged.
Referring towards the lack of development in the district, Usman said, “Our MLA has failed to deliver at the grass root level, we have dilapidated roads, erratic power supply and lack facilities in most villages.”
Regretting the politics on development in the area, Usman said, “It is unfortunate on his (MLA’s) part that the he played politics on the development thus halting work on various prime developmental projects like hospital, water supply schemes, roads and Polytechnic College.”
“People should come forward to fight for the development of the area, we are lagging behind due to ill policies of the local legislator who has failed to deliver” said Usman
“Let us come forward and change the scenario. We are here for the development of the people not for their destruction,” he said.
Usman said that Congress was the only party which can bring peace, prosperity and development in the state.
