DPM condemns lathicharge
Srinagar, Dec 5: Democratic Political Movement chairman, Firdous Ahmad Shah has strongly condemned, what he said, the indiscriminate lathicharge on the Ashura mourners by the police on Sunday, terming it blatant interference in religious affairs of people. In a statement, Shah expressed concern over the deteriorating health of its incarcerated leader Shakeel Ahmad Bhat in Kot Bhalwal Jail, Jammu. He alleged that Shakeel was denied proper medical facilities.
