Dev works in Sopore reviewed
Srinagar, Dec 7: The DDC Baramulla today held a meeting at Dak Bungalow Sopore to review ongoing developmental works in the district. Senior government officers and engineers attended the meeting. The meeting, according to an official statement, was informed that Rs 4.05 crore are being spent on the beautification of Sopore town during the current financial year.
“An amount of Rs 74 lakh will be spent on street lighting, Rs 98 lakh on drainage, Rs 50 lakh for repair of roads and Rs 50 lakh for improvement of Boys Higher Secondary and High School building Jammia Qadeem,” the meeting said. Besides, Rs 32 lakh will be spent on water supply scheme Mahraypora Sopore. On the occasion the DDC stressed upon the officers and engineers for speedy completion of works.
