Lal Chowk Traders Association condoles demise
Srinagar, Dec 7: The Lal Chowk Traders Association has expressed grief over the demise of prominent businessman Haji Muhammad Amin Shah who breathed his last on Tuesday after a prolonged illness.
Shah was remembered as an octogenarian having witnessed political upheavals and happenings that took place in 1947 and thereafter in the historic Lal Chowk.
“He was a philanthropist and a social activist as well. His death has created a vacuum in the business fraternity,” the association said.
The association expressed its “sympathies with the bereaved family and prayed to Allah to give them courage to bear this loss with fortitude.”
They also prayed for Jannah to the departed soul.
