Tight vigil
This refers to the news “Police wake up to Hangul poaching.” Police woke up only after the issue was reported in media. Actually, police must be vigilant round the year with regard to Dachigam Wildlife Park. Poaching of Hangul this year could be just a tip of the iceberg. Police must probe as to how the poachers manage to enter into the Park and why the Wildlife Department is not keeping a tight vigil on them. We must collectively ensure the protection of wildlife in Kashmir.
