CIC appointment
This refers to the news “GAD gaffe delays CIC appointment.” It is bizarre to see the callous attitude of the officials in state administration, especially with regard to such a high-profile appointment. The Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, who made the CIC appointment recently along with the PDP president Mehbooba Mufti, should have ordered an inquiry into the GAD mistake. Such mistakes not only embarrass the State Government and expose inefficiency among the officers. Omar must remove the officers who don’t know even the basics of administration. That would help in ensuring clean administration and quick disposal of files.
